Our Founder & Managing Director

May Abdel Asim looks back on 24 years of work experience of which 19 years as an entrepreneur, founding and managing the boutique
creative agency Media & More as well as two respected publications, What Women Want…Magazine and The Travel Mag.
Mindfood Publications is the latest business launch in 2020, as the first Publishing House designed to exclusively publish female
authors.
With the launch of “What Women Want…Magazine” in 2006 she entered the field of media and publishing followed by the now
discontinued travel magazine “The Travel Mag”.
Media & More is now a full service digital media agency and creative boutique serving various reputable clients from different business
sectors in terms of social media handling, online marketing, design and development as well as content creation and viral video
production.

Our History & Timeline

2006
WWW
The launch of What Women Want Magazine
2007
M & M
A few months later, M&M was launched based on WWW clients asking for agency services and ideas for their brands.
2008
Corporate Publishing
Clients began approaching M&M for their publishing experience for the corporate magazines. From Banque Misr to Mountain View, we print and digital. We cover it all.
2009
Digital Media
In light of the global financial crisis, M&M invested in digital media and launched a web and multimedia design department.
2010
Social Media Management
With the anticipated social media boom, M&M launched its Social Media Management Department, our first paying social media client was Youm7 News. Shortly the revolution would accelerate the SM boom and it transformed into an essential marketing practice.
2011
Video Production
The fast evolving content piece turned from still to moving hence M&M ventured into video production.
2015
Inhouse Studio
Since content is king and visual storytelling has no end, M&M launched an inhouse Studio with a shooting and back kitchen allowing us offering fast and cost effective video production.
2020 - 2021
Surviving the Pandemic
2020 was a tough year in which we learned to work through a pandemic and come out stronger. The pandemic pushed us to be more agile and resourceful.
